Thanks for dropping by! My name is Sandra Bretschneider, and I am the founder and author of “He Gently Leads You”.
If there's one thing I want you to know, it's this very important truth:
I don't have life all together. I haven't “arrived” in the journey of spiritual formation. The truth is, I'm still on the journey, glancing left and right every now and then, but I'm trying, more than ever, to look to God for leading.
Okay, now that we settled that, I'd love to share a bit more with you.
Most days I spend living out the blessed [stressed] life as “Mommy” to my three young daughters. My daughters are ages seven and under, and they keep me very busy. I also work per diem as a speech-language pathologist at a rehabilitation facility.
My husband—the handsome, fun guy in the picture there—is a huge part of all the behind-the-scenes production of this ministry. He keeps me grounded in spiritual truth and faithfully prays for me as the Lord leads me forward. He is the fun when I'm serious and the logic to my dreams.
My husband and I met as backpacking guides for a Christian ministry in Colorado. We dated for a short few months before we were engaged and later married. (Let's just say you get to know someone REAL quick when you're on trail with them.) Our story is not a typical courting story, and neither is our first date. (You can read more about us and our MANY adventures by , clicking the “marriage” category. Here’s just a glimpse of our beautiful love story.)
Finally, if you want to know a few other details, I love being outdoors. It's like fuel to my soul. I also enjoy running, gardening, reading, and baking. If you ever came over for a visit, I'd probably have some fresh bread or pastry to offer you.
I hope you are blessed by this online ministry.
You are most welcome here.
