Cool, crisp mornings awaken my spirit. Birds happily singing and sunshine greeting me at a window. No longer the cold air or barren trees. Each day is full of new life. Trees are budding, flowers blooming, and grass greening. A pair of finches fly around our yard, seeking a safe place to build their nest. This vibrant, refreshing season is full of beauty. Do you see the grand display of new life unfolding? What a wonderful time of year to celebrate the life we now have in Christ. He has risen, friends!
Christ has risen!
He defeated death!
We now have peace with God.
We are forgiven and free!
Let's live out this week (and beyond) as daughters of our gracious, sovereign King.
Our four-week study through the books of Leviticus and Matthew has led us to this final week as we celebrate Easter. Please join us as we dig deep into the book of Hebrews. My prayer is this Easter would not be just another holiday you celebrate with your family. My prayer is for you to be renewed of our Father's great love for you! I'd also love to share my story with you! I'd love even more for you to know this great love that has captivated my life. Please read about my story here. To join our study for the week, please click here for this week's reading guide. Let's begin our journey through the book of Hebrews by reading a verse from Monday's passage.
“Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16, NIV
As you read this verse, consider the following questions.
How are we to approach God?
As Christians, why can we approach him confidently?
What does this verse promise when we approach God?
